Brandon Beane's Best Work Part 3:

Buffalo Bills Now Own One of the Best D-lines in the League:

The Buffalo Bills didn’t add to their D-line early on in the off-season, or at all in the draft, but that’s okay. They were patient and now the team boasts one of the best and deepest units in the league. The team brought back fan favorites Jordan Phillips and Shaq Lawson, who fit the system well and bring great energy.

Looking closer at defensive tackle, the Bills have Ed Oliver, who once again is primed for a monster year, DaQuan Jones who had a phenomenal year as a 1-tech, Poona Ford who was great in Seattle, Jordan Phillips, and Tim Settle. All are guys who do their job well and will play a key part in the rotation. Poona Ford will be a top-flight addition, the guy eats blocks in his sleep and will split with Jones to form one of the best 1-tech rotations in the league.

As mentioned earlier, the Bills are loaded on the edge. Everyone is a first or second-round pick. Greg Roususea is going into his third year, he’s already excellent against the run, and many expect him to reach double-digit sacks.

Von Miller is a superstar and was on his way to well over double-digit sacks before his ACL tear. Miller recovered well from his previous ACL tear, we can expect the same when he returns for Buffalo. Leonard Floyd was a massive get, he will bring loads of firepower to the pass rush, and Miller and he are going to be scary and fas for opposing quarterbacks.

The rest is rounded out by Lawson who played great last year in Miller’s place, and A.J. Epenesa and Boogie Basham, who are both in big prove-it years. This pass rush crew is set to be one of the nastiest in the NFL.
