Ray Davis - RB

As mentioned, someone in the running game will break out in 2024. I didn't put James Cook in this spot because as the back with the fourth-most rushing yards and sixth-most all-purpose yards in the league last season, you could say he already broke out. With Ray Davis, I'm not saying he will supplant Cook as the top guy in the Bills rushing attack, but he will become a larger part of it. Reports from OTAs and minicamp talked about Cook continuing to struggle with drops, and this is where Davis excels. The Bills will turn to Davis in third down situations in 2024.

Davis will earn the Bills' number two back role, or at the very least, be the team's primary third down back. I could see Ty Johnson be the first to spell Cook when needed but look for Davis to lead all backs in receptions for Buffalo. So far, per reports from OTAs and minicamps, Davis has looked good in the passing game and showing an immense talent in this area. He's shifty and small too, look for some screens where he can get behind those big linemen and dart through for big gains.
