While news across the entire NFL may not be happening as quickly as last week, the Buffalo Bills have remained busy and continue to check off key needs with an eye toward the NFL Draft next month. On Wednesday, they would sign the presumed starting safety next to Taylor Rapp as well as bring in a defensive tackle who could provide depth to the defensive line.

Let's take a closer look at some of news and rumors from the past day or so for the Bills.

Buffalo Bills News: Casey Toohill one of the most athletic linebackers in his draft class

While Toohill has been a defensive end in the NFL, he was a linebacker at Stanford University. He would end up being one of the most athletic linebackers in that year's draft class based on his Relative Athletic Score (RAS) with a 9.7 out of 10. According to Kent Lee Platte, who created RAS, Toohill had "great speed and elite explosiveness".

Toohill is coming off a career season with five sacks, six tackles for a loss and seven QB hits with the Washington Commanders. He is only 28 years old and this has the potential to be a free agent signing that looks really good if Toohill is able to utilize that athletic ability with the Bills and build off last season.
