Ed Oliver is balling and earning that payday

Through three games Ed Oliver has three sacks so far and has been an integral part of a dominant defensive front from the Buffalo Bills. Oliver has been one of the top defensive tackles in the league, in terms of pressure this year as well.

I commented a while back that I believed McDermott had a plan for Oliver this season. With the decision to extend him over Tremaine Edmunds and him taking over the defensive play calling, I felt McDermott had a plan and now we're seeing the fruits of that. McDermott had high praise for the defensive tackle.

"It used to be a few of the veteran players and Ed was young and coming, but now it’s really like everyone is on the same level now in terms of experience."

Oliver and that defensive front will be needed this week to put pressure on Tua and disrupt the timing of the Dolphins offense. That pressure could be a massive key to this game and Oliver will be an important piece of that.
