James Cook has career high for receptions in a game

In Week 1, the Las Vegas Raiders gave up eight combined receptions to the Broncos running backs with Samaje Perine leading the Broncos in receiving yards on four receptions and Javonte Williams adding four receptions as well.

The good news for the Buffalo Bills is they have an excellent receiving running back in James Cook. Offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey will be looking for another option for Josh Allen in the passing game outside of Stefon Diggs and this week Cook should be the answer.

Last week, James Cook was the primary running back in this offense and had 16 touches (12 rushing attempts, four receptions) but this week expect the Bills to lean more into the screen game and short passes. Cook's career high for receptions in a game is six, which he did against the New England Patriots in Week 13, and should surpass that in this game.
