The Buffalo Bills this week said goodbye to a big part of their offense the past four seasons with the trade of Stefon Diggs to the Houston Texans. During the four-year stretch, he has been one of the most productive wide receivers with four straight Pro Bowl nominations and over 150 targets, 100 receptions, and 1,100 yards each season.

One of the most debated questions during this time was how much impact Diggs had on Josh Allen. The former first round pick emerged as one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL the same season the Bills added Diggs. The two have not had many games where they weren't both playing so it hasn't always been clear but this season the answer will come into focus.

Buffalo Bills set to travel to play Stefon Diggs and Houston Texans in 2024

While they won't be on the same sidelines, the Bills are set to see their former number one wide receiver this upcoming season. The schedule hasn't been set yet but the opponents for the upcoming season have been and the Bills will be traveling to Houston to play the Texans at some point.

This will be the Bills first trip to Houston since their Wild Card overtime loss in the 2019 season, which coincidentally was the last year the Bills didn't have Stefon Diggs on their team. The only other matchup between the two teams was in 2021 when the Bills won in a blowout game by a final score of 40-0.

When the Bills do travel to Houston, this will be one of the more anticipated matchups this upcoming season, outside of the Stefon Diggs storyline. The Texans were one of the surprise teams last year and made the playoffs with C.J. Stroud and DeMeco Ryans in their first year with the team. It would be surprising if two of the top teams in the AFC were not apart of a primetime game when they meet.
