Buffalo Bills have no injury concerns after bye week ahead of Week 14
For most of the season, the Buffalo Bills have been dealing with a number of injuries but after their bye week in Week 13, they are the healthiest they have been for most of the season. The Bills don't have any players on the active roster with an injury designation ahead of Sunday's game against the Kansas City Chiefs.
In fact, the only player who wasn't a full participant every day of the week was Von Miller, who did not practice on Wednesday due to a vet rest day.
Dawson Knox could return from injured reserve for the Buffalo Bills in Week 14
In addition to the players on the active roster, the Buffalo Bills could also be getting back a key part of their offense. Tight end Dawson Knox has been out due to wrist surgery and has been on injured reserve since Week 8 against the Tampa Bay Bucs.
However, he was a full participant every practice this week and was only listed as questionable. He has a good chance to be active this week head coach Sean McDermott said on Friday, according to ESPN's Alaina Getzenberg.
The other player on injured reserve who was practicing all week was cornerback Kaiir Elam but the Bills head coach indicated that he won't likely be activated.
The Buffalo Bills will have some additional roster moves that they have to make ahead of Sunday's game as they will need to create roster space on the 53-man roster for both players. The team will need to do that by Saturday afternoon so there won't be any questions about availability on Sunday.
It will be interesting to see how this offense operates with Dawson Knox active as rookie Dalton Kincaid has played great in his place as the team's top tight end. Also, the Bills have made a change at offensive coordinator with Joe Brady replacing Ken Dorsey.
The Bills may not be running as much two-tight end sets as they did earlier in the season and how the workload is split between the two tight ends is worth noting this week, if Knox is activated.
