Tre'Davious White/DaQuan Jones

On the defensive side of the ball, the Buffalo Bills should have two main focuses which is slow down running back Josh Jacobs and wide receiver Davante Adams. The Raiders last week had Jakobi Meyers heavily involved in the offense but he is out this week with a concussion.

If the Bills are going to be successful slowing down these two players the responsibility should be on cornerback Tre'Davious White and defensive tackle DaQuan Jones.

Davante Adams is still one of the best wide receivers in the game and it is a safe assumption, especially with Meyers out, that Adams will see double digit targets in this game against the Bills. This is a game that the coaching staff should have White travel with Adams.

As for the run defense, it wasn't a great start to the season as Breece Hall had an excellent game with over 120 rushing yards in his first game back from tearing his ACL last season. The Bills now are tasked with slowing down the leading rusher last season in Josh Jacobs.

DaQuan Jones is going to be instrumental because his play impacts the players around him. He is an anchor for the middle of the line and is tasked with keeping blockers from getting to the next level to block the linebackers. If Jones can clog the middle of the field it should help the other players to close on Jacobs and limit his impact in the game.
