Casey Hayward
The cornerback position for the Buffalo Bills is in a much better spot at this point in the offseason compared to last year. The Bills were very inexperienced with two rookies in Kaiir Elam and Christian Benford and third-year corner Dane Jackson expected to be the starters until Tre'Davious White was able to return.
With White now further removed from the injury and the trio of young cornerbacks getting a lot of experience, Sean McDermott and the coaching staff should be confident in this group entering the 2023 season. However, teams can never have enough depth at cornerback in such a pass-heavy league.
One cornerback that could be a good option for the Buffalo Bills would be Casey Hayward, who was released by the Atlanta Falcons this offseason. He has started 118 games with four franchises and made two Pro Bowls when he played for the Chargers in 2016 and 2017.
A veteran cornerback to add to this position group could make a lot of sense for the Bills and for Hayward it gives him his best chance at a Super Bowl at this point of his career.
