Defensive Tackle

Similar to defensive ends, the Buffalo Bills defensive tackles had an excellent game disrupting the Dolphins offense up the middle. The Bills would get two sacks, one each from Ed Oliver and DaQuan Jones, and all four (Jordan Phillips and Tim Settle included) combined for seven total tackles and three tackles for a loss.

The Bills defensive line as a whole really won the battle in the trenches and did a good job limiting the run game from the big plays. The Dolphins finished with 142 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns but one of those runs went for 55 yards.

If that run isn't included, Achane and Raheem Mostert combined for 55 rushing yards on 14 rushing attempts for an average of only 3.92 yards per carry. For an offense that had over 350 rushing yards just one week ago, this is a huge win for the Bills defense and it started in the middle with the defensive tackles.
