Linebacker

It was another solid performance from the linebacker position as Terrel Bernard and Tyrel Dodson each had eight tackles. While Bernard has been consistently good since Week 1 taking over for Tremaine Edmunds, Dodson struggled initially after taking over for Milano after his injury in Week 5.

However, he has been playing much better as of late and has been making more plays for this defense. He did leave briefly due to an injury and Dorian Williams replaced him. The rookie linebacker almost had a big sack on a blitz but Mahomes threw it just before he could get there.

Secondary

The Buffalo Bills secondary made the plays when needed in this game against the Chiefs. Patrick Mahomes did have 271 passing yards, one touchdown and one interception but they had only two players with 30 receiving yards or more (Travis Kelce and Rashee Rice).

The best player at this position against the Kansas City Chiefs was Taron Johnson, as he led the Bills in tackles with nine with one pass defended. However, he recovered a fumble that was forced by Christian Benford that came at a key moment in the game.
