5.) Take Travis Kelce out of the Chiefs’ game plan
The Chiefs’ passing game is not what it once was. It is highlighted by dropped passes at the receiver position and lack of offensive firepower overall. Star tight end Travis Kelce has not had a 100+ receiving yard game since Week 7 against the Los Angeles Chargers.
Since Week 8, Kelce is averaging just five catches a game for 58 yards. In that span, he has also only seen the endzone one time. As a matter of fact, Kelce has only two games above 100 receiving yards and no games with double digit touchdowns. He is not the same player he once was and the eye test shows that he is not the same threat he once was.
However, with this game expected to be a high scoring affair, Kelce should definitely get the most looks out of the receiving core. The Bills’ defense collapsed in the second half against the Philadelphia Eagles and without Matt Milano, Terrel Bernard will be tasked with a heavy challenge to contain Kelce. The defense for Buffalo has been shaky at times this season and if they let Kelce play like has against them before, this game could get out of hand on the defense.
