10. Houston Texans (3 - 4)

The Texans are ahead of the curve in their rebuild; however, after taking a loss to the formerly winless Carolina Panthers, shows they aren't there yet. They have some solid pieces in place already, including most importantly, the quarterback. C.J. Stroud is a huge bright spot this season and I expect the Texans to win some more but I don't think they make the playoffs in the AFC, not this year.

9. New York Jets (4 - 3)

Congratulations go to the Jets for winning the battle of...New Jersey. Sorry, I couldn't resist that one. If you watched that game, I'm sorry. It was not pretty to watch but the Jets won and that's all that matters. They are sitting in a good spot though, particularly if they can continue to pick up a few wins while holding out hope for a return of Aaron Rodgers late this season.

8. Pittsburgh Steelers (4 - 3)

The Pittsburgh Steelers are a team of inconsistencies from week to week. You never really know what you're going to get each week, but it looks like starting quarterback Kenny Pickett is just fine for the upcoming game against the Titans, as he has no injur designation as of today, despite being unable to finish last week.
