Wide Receiver (6)

Stefon Diggs, Gabe Davis, Khalil Shakir, Deonte Harty, Trent Sherfield, Justin Shorter

The wide receiver position in the past has been one that has been intriguing as the Bills have had depth at the position where seven or eight wide receivers had a strong case to make the 53-man roster.

This offseason though I don't believe that there is that much discussion unless an undrafted free agent has an excellent training camp and preseason. The Bills likely keep these six players at the position on their 53-man roster with Sherfield and Shorter primarily playing special teams.

Tight Ends (2)

Dawson Knox, Dalton Kincaid

Another potential position the Buffalo Bills can find an extra roster spot is at tight end and even though they want to run more two tight end sets they don't need more on the roster than Dawson Knox and first round draft pick Dalton Kincaid.

As mentioned previously, Reggie Gilliam can play some tight end and if the team wants a run-blocking tight end, the Bills have turned to players like offensive tackle Tommy Doyle. He is an offensive lineman but is athletic enough that he could line up as a sixth offensive lineman on run plays.
