5.) Tyler Bass
In what could be expected to be a high scoring game, kicking will be crucial if it comes down to less than a touchdown to win it all. Bills kicker Tyler Bass has been a reliable option for special teams when they get into field goal range. However, in 3 of the last 6 games for the Bills, he has only converted 50% or less of field goals attempted.
Two weeks ago against the Eagles, Bass went 2-4 and left 6 points off the board (the Bills would end up losing by 3 in that game). In Week 7 against the Patriots, he went 1-2 from field goal range. Then in Week 6 against the New York Giants, he missed both attempted field goals that were 50 yards or more.
These are the kind of games that all three phases of a football team have to be almost perfect in order to get a win. It is highly unlikely that this is a blowout game for either team. If the Bills settle for field goals, Bass could make or break the game.
