Did the offensive line improve this offseason?

On the offensive side of the ball, the Buffalo Bills made a concerted effort to try and improve the protection in front of Josh Allen. The focus was primarily at guard as they signed free agents Connor McGovern and David Edwards while also using a second round pick on O'Cyrus Torrence.

The next players on the interior of the offensive line with the hopefully improvement of a healthy Spencer Brown entering Year 3 would make this a much better unit this season.

However, over the course of training camp the offensive line has looked overmatched at times and unable to protect Josh Allen from the pass rush. Now to be fair, the Bills are expected to have one of the better pass rushes in the NFL so it could just be a case of an elite group matched up against a good group.

The performance over the three preseason games will be a great indication of just how much this group has improved but it might be another season of Josh Allen scrambling to make plays.
