Who starts at middle linebacker for the Buffalo Bills?

One of the most talked about storylines this offseason was who would replace Tremaine Edmunds at middle linebacker? The Bills didn't really make any notable moves in free agency, outside of bringing back Tyrel Dodson and A.J. Klien, and only drafted one linebacker in the NFL Draft, Dorian Williams.

Those three linebackers, alongside Terrel Bernard and Baylon Spector, were expected to be competing for that starting spot in training camp. The competition seemed to shrink rather quickly as it looks to be down to Terrel Bernard and Tyrel Dodson as the two players most likely to be the starter.

Unfortunately, the competition might have gotten a little more complicated as Bernard suffered a hamstring injury on the final day of training camp. It remains to be seen what the severity is and how much he might miss but this gives Dodson a good chance to take the lead as he should be the starter in the first preseason game against the Colts.
