5.) Greg Rousseau

Going into the third year of his rookie contract, Rousseau will be looking to solidify himself as a premier edge rusher for the franchise. This season will determine if the Bills end up picking up the fifth-year option of his contract and with the productivity he has produced the last two seasons, Rousseau is on the path to getting himself a second contract with the Bills. Throughout training camp, Rousseau was winning one-on-one battles against the offensive linemen, as well as creating pressure on Josh Allen that affected the offense.

According to Alex Brasky, Rousseau is not just being utilized on the edge but has also been playing more inside in the trenches which provides versatility on the defensive line. Being able to provide this kind of versatility will allow Sean McDermott to get more creative about how the Bills defense is operated this season.

The 2023 season is a crucial one for Rousseau as he starts to see a contract in his near future, more than likely with the Bills based on his production over the last two seasons. With him standing out in camp, Rousseau is on the path to becoming a key franchise player for the Bills.
