Jordan Phillips

The defensive tackle position as a whole has played pretty well through the first two games with Ed Oliver, DaQuan Jones, Tim Settle Jr., Poona Ford, and even players further down the depth chart like Eli Ankou. One player who hasn't gotten on the field yet this year has been Jordan Phillips, but that is expected to change this weekend.

Phillips returned to the Buffalo Bills last year and once again showed that when he is healthy, he is a force on this defensive line. The trouble is that Phillips has dealt with more than his fair share of injuries and is recovering from offseason shoulder surgery, which is why he hasn't played in a preseason game this year.

The Buffalo Bills are going to likely keep only four defensive ends and it's hard to imagine Phillips moving past one of those Top 4 defensive tackles. The question is can Phillips play well enough to make the case for the Buffalo Bills to keep five?
