Buffalo Bills: 5 players facing pivotal offseason program

Buffalo Bills players facing pivotal offseason: Dalton Kincaid, TE
A rookie? On this list? Absolutely.
Look, the Bills were going to trade back. That was the plan all along. General manager Brandon Beane even said so after Day 1. He told the media that Buffalo was going to trade back, but didn't expect Dalton Kincaid to be there.
With that said, the Bills spent a first-round pick on a tight end when they already had Dawson Knox. Now, the team is going to run a lot of 12 personnel, making Kincaid more of a receiver than anything, and that makes sense.
To add to that, though, that's even more reason for Kincaid to develop quickly and make an impact as a rookie. Tight ends typically take a while to get there in terms of NFL development, but Kincaid is going to be counted on right away from how Beane has made things sound.
Tight ends usually aren't expected to be very good right away, even as a high pick sometimes, but Kincaid is going to have to buck the trend.
