3.) O’Cyrus Torrence - Offensive Guard

Yes, this is the second rookie on this list but the potential is very high. Drafted in the second round this year, Torrence will have the opportunity to compete for a starting spot on the offensive line or at least rotate in.

Let’s not forget, Torrence did not give up a single sack in his college career. One of the big issues that the Bills faced last year was protection which limited the run and forced Allen to scramble outside the pocket and force a play that did not need to be. It’s still hard to believe that he not only fell to the second round but almost fell to the third round of the draft. 

With his size, quickness and blocking abilities, Torrence has the upside to serving as a true protector for Allen. Interior pressure should not be allowed if the Bills want to move the chains. He’ll more than likely have his growing pains, but Torrence is expected to be a premier starter in the near future for the Buffalo Bills. If he gets his shot this season, don’t be surprised if he stays in the starting lineup.
