2.) Mac Jones has more interceptions than touchdowns against Buffalo

There is an argument to be made that the current worst starting quarterback in the NFL going into Week 7 is Mac Jones. He has one game where he has not thrown an interception, three games where he has completed less than 58% of his throws, as well as three games of 200 passing yards or less. Now granted, it doesn’t help that he has receivers who have trouble getting separation from defensive backs and a run game that cannot seem to get going.

However, Jones has shown regression since his rookie season. Even with Bill O’Brien as his offensive coordinator, something just is not clicking for the third year quarterback. Jones has played against Buffalo five times in his career, having one career win where he only threw three passes in a Patriots 14-10 victory in 2021.

His career high in passing yards against Buffalo is 243 yards and has only had one game where he did not have the same amount of interceptions as touchdowns. In 5 career games vs. Buffalo, Jones has 6 passing touchdowns to 7 interceptions.

With Buffalo coming into this game leading the NFL in sacks, Jones could very well face pressure upfront early and on throughout the game, potentially worsening his stats against the Bills.
