2.) There were no sacks on either quarterback

Both Allen and Mahomes went untouched in this game, both avoiding sacks against the defenses. The Bills’ offensive line has done a great job in protecting Allen this season and it showed again in this game.

On the other side of the ball, the Buffalo defensive line could not get to Mahomes at all. When pressure was sent, it was either picked up or Mahomes was able to move in the pocket and extend the play. There was a specific play in the game where linebackers A.J. Klein and Tyrel Dodson both blitzed on the same side, allowing Mahomes to step up in the pocket and fire a laser pass to Marquez Valdes-Scantling for a big gain for the Chiefs.

While Buffalo managed to avoid the Chiefs getting momentum from getting to Allen, it was a double-edged sword when it came to not getting to Mahomes. Maybe a sack near the end of the game could have been a turning point for the Bills.
