Buffalo Bills: 5 initial takeaways from 27-24 loss vs. Chiefs
By Brandon Ray
In an expected back-and-forth game between these two teams, it was the Kansas City Chiefs who came out on top against the Buffalo Bills for the third time in four seasons. The Chiefs defeated the Bills 27-24 and advance to the AFC championship game against the Baltimore Ravens. The Bills' offseason begins now as they will look into free agency and the NFL draft.
At the end of the day, the Bills collpased in the second half. The defense could not stop the Chiefs' offense, and the Buffalo offense put up just one scoring drive. Kansas City made the big plays when needed and Buffalo couldn't.
As the Bills head into the offseason, they will have a lot on their hands. A good amount of pending free agents, and a salary cap issue due to big contracts that they have for next year.
