2.) Buffalo stopped all 3 fourth down attempts from Miami offense

When the Miami Dolphins were getting desperate on third and fourth down as the game progressed, the Bills’ defense stood their ground and did not allow momentum to build in the second half. The Dolphins punted the ball only three times but also had two turnovers with both an interception by Micah Hyde and a fumble recovery by Terrel Bernard, as well as turning the ball over on downs on their last three offensive drives of the game.

The defense for Buffalo has played exceptional situational football through three weeks and when they are able to get these stops, this takes the pressure off the offense and allows them to take their time in scoring. With the Dolphins having wideouts like Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle, it was surprising that Tua was not able to get them as involved as they were expected to.

The Bills’ defense played out of their minds and only allowed 20 points on the day, with only 6 points coming in the second half.
