Buffalo Bills don't allow any sacks in Week 3

In Week 1, the New York Jets defensive line recorded five sacks on Josh Allen but since that game, the Bills offensive line has done an excellent job in protecting the quarterback. This wasn't just because of a drop in talent either as Maxx Crosby didn't record a sack in Week 2.

This week, the Bills offensive line faced an even tougher challenge because the Commanders have a great defensive line across the entire line. On the edge, they have Montez Sweat and Chase Young with Daron Payne and Jonathan Allen up the middle. Through the first two games of the season, Washington had 10 sacks but against the Buffalo Bills didn't really get close to Allen with no sacks and only one QB hit.

The fact that the offensive line has been able to give Josh Allen plenty of time in the pocket has been a big reason for the improved play the past two weeks. The Bills face another big challenge this week against the Dolphins and if the game turns into a shootout, Josh Allen is going to need this level of protection.
