4.) Micah Hyde - Safety

Hyde’s season was cut short last year after a neck season-ending injury occurred in week two last season. As a pivotal player for McDermott’s defense, Hyde is a candidate for a comeback season from last year.

In 2021, Hyde recorded 74 tackles, 1 sack, 1 forced fumble, 2 fumble recoveries, 10 pass deflections and 5 interceptions. He has been part of a dynamic safety duo with teammate Jordan Poyer, who just re-signed with the Bills to a two-year contract extension this offseason

With Poyer coming back, the duo safety will have the chance to pick up where they left off in 2021. Hyde has been a valuable asset to this Bills defense and a leader of the secondary. In 2023, Hyde’s tenure might be coming to an end with the Bills as he is entering a contract year with the Buffalo Bills, making him a great candidate as a potential breakout player for the Bills.
