5.) Leonard Floyd - Outside Linebacker

A late addition in free agency, but a splash of a signing that should help the Bills pass rush. Leonard Floyd joins a Bills defense that has slowly improved a pass rush but still needs assistance. In the last three seasons, Floyd has recorded 10.5 sacks, 9.5 sacks and 9 sacks.

It will be interesting to see how Floyd is utilized in this defense in a 4-2-5 formation. Floyd has had success as a 3-4 defender. With the Bills having young guys in the rotation aside from Von Miller, Floyd provides a veteran presence that should help give more guidance to the young edge rushers.

Sean McDermott is set to call the defensive plays this year as Leslie Frazier is out of Buffalo this season. The aggressiveness that McDermott likes to implement should allow Floyd to get after the pass and can help upfront and in the secondary.

This one-year deal that Floyd received from the Bills is not a prove-it deal. With his production in the last three seasons, Floyd is expected to provide the same impact for this Bills defense.
