The month of December has been kind to the Buffalo Bills who find themselves at 9-6, after three consecutive wins to put themselves back into playoff contention. As of right now, they are the current sixth seed in the AFC and could even clinch a playoff spot this coming week if they receive some help. However, they will need to take care of business first at home this week against Bill Belichick and the New England Patriots.

In this rematch from Week 7, the Bills will look to take this one after losing to the Patriots back in October, by a score of 29-25. Former starting quarterback for New England, Mac Jones, looked like Tom Brady in the first meeting between these two teams but has since went downhill in production and lost his starting job. The Bills will now gameplan for quarterback Bailey Zappe, who led a comeback victory against the Denver Broncos on Christmas Eve.

The Bills have a lot more to lose in this game, and with Bill Belicick potentially playing against the Bills for the last time as the Patriots’ head coach, expect the Patriots to spoiler.

Here are five bold predictions for the Buffalo Bills vs. New England Patriots in Week 17.
