Can the Buffalo Bills avoid a let-down game?

The Buffalo Bills are coming out of the toughest part of their schedule and after a disappointing loss to the Denver Broncos have looked much better. They would blow out the New York Jets, loss on the road to the Philadelphia Eagles in overtime, before those big wins over the Chiefs and Cowboys.

The Bills now go on the road against a Chargers team that have lost five of their last six games with the only win being against the Patriots by a final score of 6-0.

Over the years, the Buffalo Bills have had these let-down type games like in Week 5 against the Jaguars when they lost 25-20 after beating the Miami Dolphins. Last year, it was a loss to the New York Jets with Zach Wilson under center after beating the Green Bay Packers in primetime.

In 2021, the Bills lost to the Jaguars 9-6 after beating the Dolphins in what would end up being Urban Meyer's second, and final, win at the NFL level.

The good news is that the Buffalo Bills have been incredible in the final month under Sean McDermott and have not lost a December game since 2019. However, a loss would be a huge blow to their playoff chances.
