The Buffalo Bills are just on the outside looking in for the playoffs after a huge 31-10 victory over the Dallas Cowboys. The Bills have now had back-to-back wins over the Chiefs and Cowboys to move to 8-6.

This week, they are traveling across the country to play the Los Angeles Chargers in what is once again a must-win for this team as they try to make the playoffs for the fifth straight season. These are the five biggest questions ahead of the Week 16 matchup.

Do the Buffalo Bills activate Kaiir Elam?

While the Buffalo Bills opened the practice window for DaQuan Jones on Tuesday, head coach Sean McDermott said it was unlikely that he would play this weekend. The Bills will have 21 days to activate Jones off the injured reserve otherwise he will remain on that list for the remainder of the season.

One player that they are running out of time to activate is Kaiir Elam, who was placed on injured reserve due to an ankle injury. The former first round pick has been a healthy scratch for most of the season and when he did play, he struggled.

The Bills have roughly one more week to activate Elam but if they do, they will have to release a player to create a roster spot.

It is an interesting decision for the team because Elam has primarily been inactive most weeks due to the depth at the position. However, if they don't activate him, then he won't be available at all for the rest of the season if there are injuries.
