Can the Buffalo Bills limit Jalen Hurt scrambling?

The Buffalo Bills pass rush got back on track against the New York Jets as they sacked Zach Wilson and Tim Boyle six times with eight QB hits. Leonard Floyd led the way with 2.5 sacks but the Bills got pressure from the linebacker position as well with Tyrel Dodson and Terrel Bernard combining for 1.5 sacks.

The Bills have a very talented defensive front but this week creates a new challenge for this defense that they really haven't faced yet this season. This week against the Eagles will be the first time this season the Bills have to contain a dual-threat quarterback like Jalen Hurts.

For the defensive line, gap discipline is going to be critical and the Bills aren't going to be able to just rush Hurts but will need to do so in a way that keeps him in the pocket. If he does escape, Terrel Bernard is probably going to be busy spying on the quarterback to make sure he doesn't make big runs.
