Chicago Bears

The Chicago Bears are one of the most fascinating teams this offseason as they not only have the first overall pick and will need to decide if they want to use it on Caleb Williams or trade it away. The other decision, which is directly impacted by the first, is how to proceed with Justin Fields and either build around him or trade him.

In addition, the Bears have the fourth most cap space available and are expected to be big spenders in free agency. One of their biggest needs is at defensive end as they don't have much depth after Montez Sweat.

A.J. Epenesa could be a good fit on the other side and the Bears did offer former Bills' linebacker Tremaine Edmunds a big contract last offseason. They also hired Epenesa's defensive line coach, Eric Washington, this offseason to be their new defensive coordinator. There is plenty of connections that makes this probably the most likely team to sign A.J. Epenesa.
