Seattle Seahawks

The Seattle Seahawks ranked close to the Top 10 in sacks last year but have a number of players set to be free agents, most notably Leonard Williams. However, the Seahawks still have linebacker Boye Mafe (who had nine sacks) and defensive tackle Jarran Reed (who had seven sacks).

The Seahawks could be heading in a new direction though as they have a new coaching staff led by Mike Macdonald, who previously was defensive coordinator for the Baltimore Ravens. The notable hire, and why the Seahawks might target A.J. Epenesa, is they named Leslie Frazier assistant head coach.

Frazier was a long-time defensive coordinator for the Buffalo Bills from 2017-2022 before stepping away last offseason. He knows A.J. Epenesa and how he could fit in this new defense for the Seahawks. It is a move that makes sense for both sides and it wouldn't be surprising to see him end up there this offseason.
