Buffalo Bills: 4 free agents to sign if Kyle Allen struggles in preseason
Nick Foles
The next quarterback is similar to Case Keenum in that Nick Foles is a career backup quarterback. Foles has played 11 seasons in the NFL with six different franchises but has only had two seasons with double digit starts.
He would replace Carson Wentz in 2013 after he suffered his season-ending knee injury but wouldn't be until 2017 that he led the Philadelphia Eagles to their Super Bowl victory. This past season, Foles appeared in three games for the Indianapolis Colts and this offseason reportedly has considered retiring.
Nick Foles may not have the upside of Carson Wentz but he is a veteran quarterback that has been around the league. He is a player that would bring some great experience to the quarterback room and be an asset on the sideline during games.
If the Buffalo Bills want a veteran backup, then Nick Foles would make the most sense to replace Kyle Allen.
