3.) Opens up the pass for all weapons

With going back to the basics, getting the run game going will open up the field for the pass-attack to do some damage. Currently, the Bills’ passing game is Stefon Diggs and a mixture of tight end Dalton Kincaid and wide receiver Gabe Davis.

Davis has been targeted 49 times, Kincaid has 45 targets, and then the leader is Diggs with 97 targets. While the Buffalo passing game is strong when Allen doesn’t overthink the play, recent weeks have shown that the Buffalo is predictable when they go out of the shotgun formation for the pass.

Last week, the Bills did not get the run game going early on and it hurt them. If Allen didn’t scramble out of the pocket, the run game was close to nonexistent. Buffalo needs to find their run attack and get the Broncos off balanced against the run which then helps with the pass. The Bills have complicated the simple fundamentals in the last month. It’s time to go back to them in Week 10.
