Reason 3 why the Buffalo Bills signing Leonard Floyd was an excellent move: The Von Miller relationship
The 2021 Los Angeles Rams featured the likes of both Leonard Floyd and Von Miller, and that team went on to defeat the Cincinnati Bengals to win the Super Bowl. Los Angeles, of course, brought in Miller halfway through the season as part of their big move to go win it all.
Les Snead cast all cares aside and went for the jugular with bringing in Miller, and it worked. It sure is funny how things have worked out for the both of them, two years later. Now reunited in Buffalo, Floyd and Miller have an opportunity to wreak havoc on opposing quarterbacks once the latter returns to action.
In the meantime, it'll be Floyd who holds down the fort for Miller as he continues to recover. The two of them obviously have a relationship having played together on a Super Bowl team, so there's a connection there for sure. It's one more reason why signing Floyd made so much sense for this Bills team.
In the end, signing Floyd was one of those championship type of moves that great teams make, and Beane did just that. He made the move that could put this team over the top and on to win a Super Bowl.
