The NFL Draft has come and gone, and the big waves of free agency are also over. For those who love the NFL and everything about it, we head into the worst part of the year; the driest time for news and content. While the Buffalo Bills prioritized improving their offense this off-season, it seems set in stone that Gabe Davis will be the team's number two receiver again, next season.
Many Bills' fans had been clamoring all off-season, and even in the middle of the season, for Davis to be demoted back to the team's number three pass catcher. With the team bringing in no prolific names to the wide receiver room, barring a monster trade, Davis will be star quarterback Josh Allen's number-two wideout option this season.
Davis has flashed since the first time he took the field for the Bills, and has exploded at times. In three seasons with Buffalo, Davis has posted 118 catches, for 1,984 yards, and 20 touchdowns in 47 games.
With that said, he has also gone through some cold stretches; last season fans were calling for his head because of drop issues. However, there is plenty of reasons for optimism that Davis will have an even better season this year.
