1.) Middle Linebacker

This is the biggest concern for the Bills’ defense and even on the entire team. As of right now, Tyrel Dodson has yet to prove that he belongs with the starters and an injury to Terrel Bernard with his hamstring has held him out of preseason action.

There is a legit belief that A.J. Klein could potentially be the team's starting middle linebacker next to Matt Milano. The issue with Dodson’s performance in the last two preseason games was his inability to get off of blocks and allow runs up the middle. However, Dodson might be the only choice if Klein is not able to outperform him.

Maybe the Bills do miss Tremaine Edmunds a little bit, but they would not have been able to pay him what he received from the Bears (four-years, $72 million). The big issue is that the Bills did not address this hole in the defense throughout the offseason. That could be a big mistake for Buffalo heading into the regular season.
