2.) Backup Quarterback

The fact that this position is still an on-going battle is somewhat surprising. When the Bills played against the Colts, it was Kyle Allen who struggled and Matt Barkley who played like the MVP to help the Bills win the first game.

Fast forward to last Saturday, it was Barkley who was responsible for four total turnovers (three interceptions and one fumble) and Allen looked like a solid game-manager despite the Bills being down when he entered the game.

This upcoming game against the Bears will come down to who will be backing up Josh Allen, and who might be put away on the practice squad. The theme up to this point is that whoever is playing against the other team’s backups have struggled. This should be a bit of a concern because if something were to happen with Josh Allen and the team needed to turn to the backup, there might not be much confidence.
