3.) Matt Milano

It goes without saying that All-Pro Matt Milano has been the heart and soul of this Bills defense the past two weeks. If he is not the one making the play, he is near the play most of the time. He has shown the Bills that they made the correct investment by going with him and not retaining Tremaine Edmunds. He has two interceptions on the season, including a pick where he ripped the ball from Josh Jacobs on a dump-off pass. 

Milano is a player who can cover tight ends and stick with and limit them. Commanders’ tight end Logan Thomas is the second most targeted weapon for Howell through two weeks (11 targets for 6 catches and 65 yards, with one touchdown). With Howell utilizing Thomas this much through two weeks, it would not be a surprise if Milano is assigned to cover Thomas on each passing route and have Bernard play in the middle of the field with zone coverage.
