1.) Terrel Bernard

The second-year linebacker who won the middle linebacker position without playing a single snap in preseason looked decent on Monday night. He was tied for the most solo tackles but led the team with 11 total tackles.

One of the reasons why Bernard is on this list is because with the confirmation of Jakobi Meyers being ruled out, and Davante Adams as now the main go-to guy, this could open more opportunities for tight ends Austin Hooper and even rookie Michael Mayer to get some looks. This is where Bernard’s versatility can come into play of being able to play coverage.

Not only that, but if the Bills’ defensive line is affected by the running game for a second consecutive week, Bernard will have to also step up in the run game to now allow Jacobs to get to the third level and go off to the races for six points.
