3.) Buffalo Bills’ defensive ends vs. Jets’ offensive tackles

Rodgers may be enjoying the new life in New York City but doesn’t seem to be a fan of how the Jets’ offensive line has performed in the preseason. The protectors on the outside in Mekhi Becton and Duane Brown are not the best options for a 39 year old quarterback in a new system.

Becton has yet to finish a season on the field and Brown is a 38 year old left tackle who will have to be quick off the edge to protect Rodgers. While Rodgers may have better weapons going into this season as compared to last year, the offensive tackles in front of him will have a tough task at hand with the Bills’ rotation of defensive ends.

Even with Von Miller remaining on the PUP list to start the season, the Bills will have Gregory Rousseau and Leonard Floyd to start out the season. Along with Rousseau and Floyd, the Bills defensive line will also have a rotation of Shaq Lawson, A.J. Epenesa, Kameron Cline, and Kingsley Jonathan.

If the Bills are able to consistently create pressure on the outside and force Rodgers to step up into the pocket rather than roll out, the defense could make it a long night for Rodgers and the Jets’ offense.
