Incorporating all the new players on offense
The focus this offseason was undoubtedly on the offensive side of the ball as the Bills brought in a number of players both in free agency and the NFL Draft. The pressure is now on Ken Dorsey and the offensive coaching staff to incorporate all these players.
The Bills still have their top wide receivers with Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis as the starters on the outside but have questions inside at slot receiver. The team brought in Deonte Harty and Trent Sherfield in free agency but also drafted Dalton Kincaid in the first round who could see snaps at that spot.
The addition of Kincaid does give the Bills more versatility as they can keep the same personnel on the field but create multiple looks for defenses. Ken Dorsey can line both Dawson Knox and Dalton Kincaid in line and run the ball or run play-action from this look. They can also move Kincaid out wide, or even motion James Cook out of the backfield and up to the line.
On the offensive line, the Bills have a number of new players with Connor McGovern and David Edwards being signed in free agency and the team drafting O'Cyrus Torrence in the second round. Certainly, no starting job is going to be won during OTAs but the coaching staff will start to work through different combinations for their starting five ahead of training camp.
