Buffalo Bills 2024 Free Agent Options: Michael Pierce

Of the three free agents on this list, Michael Pierce is the oldest as he will be 31 years old but he is a veteran that could be willing to sign a prove-it deal depending on how this season goes. The reason is that the past two years have been cut short due to injuries and he hasn't been able to produce at the same level he did earlier in his career.

He began his career with the Baltimore Ravens before signing a three year deal with the Minnesota Vikings in 2021. However, he suffered an elbow injury that cost him four games and Pierce was released after the season.

Pierce did return to Baltimore last offseason but would only play three games after suffering a torn bicep in Week 4. When healthy though, Michael Pierce is a big-bodied defensive tackle that doesn't bring much in terms of pass rush but is dominant against the run.

Pierce likely wouldn't be a long-term answer at the position but he could be a veteran that works into the rotation and play well alongside Ed Oliver.
