Who the Buffalo Bills would be playing in 2024 has been known for some time but in what order was announced on Wednesday night as they look to win their fifth straight AFC East title. The Bills will be opening at home at Highmark Stadium against the Arizona Cardinals. This will be the first time the Buffalo Bills play at home in Week 1 since 2021 when they played the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The Bills will not have to wait long for their second game of the season as they have a short week and a trip to South Beach. The Bills will be playing the Miami Dolphins in the first Thursday Night game of the season on Amazon Prime for Week 2.
An early season matchup with the Dolphins is becoming an annual tradition as they have now had a game against their division rival in the first four weeks in five consecutive seasons.
In addition to the fact that four of the first six games are on the road, the Bills will be playing in primetime four times, including two games on Monday Night Football. Surprisingly though one game during that stretch that was almost guaranteed to be a prime time game is played on Sunday afternoon. The Bills first matchup against their former top receiver Stefon Diggs in Week 5 against the Houston Texans.
