Secondary

It was the first time since 2021 that the Buffalo Bills had Jordan Poyer, Micah Hyde, Taron Johnson and Tre'Davious White on the field together. At one time, these four were apart of one of the best secondaries in the NFL.

That was evident once again as they did a really good job shutting down the Jets passing game as Wilson had only 140 passing yards with one passing touchdown. That touchdown wasn't necessarily the fault of Tre'Davious White, who had great coverage, but was an exceptional play by Garrett Wilson.

It was also clear in this game that Christian Benford is the full-time starter and there is not a rotation at the other cornerback position. The second-year corner was targeted often as the Jets tried to stay away from White and he did a good job but the play of the game from him was when he chased down Breece Hall on his 82 yard run that seemed almost guaranteed to go for a touchdown.
