Buffalo Bills Week 1 Grades: Plenty of failing grades against the Jets

There were many that were concerned about what the linebacker position might look like without Tremaine Edmunds and not getting a chance to see Terrel Bernard during the preseason. However, this group played pretty well with Terrel Bernard being a pleasant surprise.

The second-year linebacker would lead the defense in tackles with 11 and seemed to settle down after an early defensive holding penalty that extended the Jets drive.

As for Matt Milano, it was more of the same with eight total tackles, one tackle for a loss and one interception. With a defense that has as many stars as it does, Milano is emerging as the best player on this side of the ball.
