Question 4: Can Latavius Murray pass Damien Harris on the depth chart?

The Buffalo Bills will probably only going to keep three running backs on the 53-man roster and if there is a training camp battle it will likely be between Damien Harris and Latavius Murray. The Bills added Murray after the NFL Draft and it gives them another veteran at the position that can compete with the other running backs.

Latavius Murray is entering his 10th season in the NFL and while most running backs see their performance decline significantly in their 30s, that hasn't been the case for Murray. In the past two years, Murray has averaged about 4.3 yards per rushing attempt and has 12 rushing touchdowns

He has proven that he is not slowing down any time soon and can be a contributor out of the backfield. However, Damien Harris is probably the better running back on paper but it is far from a guarantee that he has a spot on the 53-man roster.

If Latavius Murray does not beat out Damien Harris, I could see a scenario where the Buffalo Bills try to bring him back on their practice squad, especially with Harris' injury history.
