Breaking down the greatest undrafted Buffalo Bills players of all-time
4. CB - Booker Edgerson
Booker Edgerson became a key member of the Buffalo Bills upon joining the team in 1962, contributing significantly to the formidable defenses of the 1960s. Edgerson played with the Bills through 1969, and played one season with the Denver Broncos in 1970, before calling it a career. He helped the Bills win back-to-back AFL championships in 1964 and 1965, making the Pro Bowl, (when that meant something) in 1965. He started 87 out of 106 games played. He is also a member of the Bills Wall of Fame.
Edgerson's 23 career interceptions tie him for seventh in team history, ahead of greats like Jordan Poyer, Jarius Byrd, and Henry Jones. He became one the best corners in Bills' history and teamed up with fellow corner Butch Byrd in 1964. They formed one of the most dominant corner duos in AFL history. Between Byrd and Edgerson, they have 63 total receptions, with Byrd the Bills all-time interceptions record holder.
